What is The Purple App

The Purple App finds, tests and automatically connects you to safe public WiFi. Instead of filling in a form or hunting for an SSID every time you sit down in a coffee shop or airport lounge, your phone connects silently in the background using a digital Purple WiFi Pass installed on your device.

The Purple App uses the Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) standard and connects to the OpenRoaming federation, so the same Purple WiFi Pass works at hundreds of thousands of Purple-partnered venues worldwide - no extra setup needed.

Add your Purple WiFi Pass
The app installs your free Purple WiFi Pass to your phone settings. This is the digital key that lets Purple-partnered networks recognise you.

Open the map
Open the Explore page to see verified WiFi near you. From here on, Purple partner venues connect automatically.
