Premier Inn Wi-Fi Guest Support Guide

The Premier Inn Wi-Fi service is provided by Purple in most hotels. Virgin provides Wi-Fi for the remaining Premier Inn locations. 

Premier Inn offers two versions of Wi-Fi for their customers: Free Wi-Fi, and the paid for option of Ultimate Wi-Fi.

How to login to Premier Inn Wi-Fi (Free or Ultimate)

  1. Turn on your computer or mobile device
  2. Search your wireless networks. On most mobile and tablet devices, this is available from Settings > Wi-Fi. On laptops, select the Wi-Fi icon from your toolbar
  3. To access the Wi-Fi you need to sign up by filling in the form or by logging in. Select either Free Wi-Fi or Ultimate Wi-Fi and follow the on-screen instructions:

  • This gives you basic access to Wi-Fi to check your emails, post Facebook updates, and to search and browse the web.

Premier Inn Ultimate Wi-Fi

If you need faster Wi-Fi, you can upgrade to Premier Inn Ultimate Wi-Fi for a charge of £5 per 24 hours.

  • This will give you 8x faster speed, which is ideal for streaming shows and downloading larger files
  • Your access is measured in time as soon as you first login, irrespective of how much data you consume. It will end 24 hours later
  • Ultimate Wi-Fi is limited to a maximum of 3 devices. Two smartphones and one laptop will reach your device connection limit
  • To purchase Ultimate Wi-Fi, select 'Premier Inn Ultimate Wi-Fi' from the list of available networks then follow the online instructions to make a payment. Payment options include: Visa, Mastercard or American Express Debit/Credit card, PayPal, and Vouchers purchased from the hotel reception
  • If you forget your password or username for your Wi-Fi account these can be reset by following the 'Reset password' link from your login page
  • Ultimate Wi-Fi comes free with every Premier Plus room

Which devices are supported?

Devices with a web browser and the ability to connect to a public service are able to access the network. Devices such as games consoles and Fire Sticks are not supported.

Why is the signal poor?

Distance from the router or position in your room may impact the Wi-Fi strength. You can report this to one of our advisors using the contact details below, who will escalate the information to our network team.

How much does it cost?

Premier Inn provides Wi-Fi for free throughout your stay. The cost to upgrade to Ultimate Wi-Fi is £5 per day. 

Ultimate Wi-Fi provides 24 hour access starting and finishing at the same time, one day apart. Up to three devices can be connected to Ultimate.

How do I upgrade from Free to Ultimate?

If you have used free Wi-Fi before, you may automatically connect to the free Wi-Fi. Go to your Settings > Wi-Fi, select to forget the free network, then select  ‘Premier Inn Ultimate Wi-Fi’ and input your details.

How do I get a voucher code?

Vouchers are typically available from reception. Vouchers also come with Premier Plus Rooms. They can be used on a maximum of 3 devices.

How do I enter a voucher code?

After selecting ‘Premier Inn Ultimate Wi-Fi’, a ‘Redeem voucher’ option displays once you get to the ‘Please select a plan’ step. Voucher codes have an expiry date and are normally valid for 24 hours.

Why can’t I connect to the internet?

If you have selected the network, have signal, and can’t get online, contact our support team using the details below. Include your:

  • Wi-Fi name
  • Device MAC address
  • Date/time of login
  • Screenshot of the error
  • Venue details
  • Room number

How do I get a refund?

Apply for a refund via email: guest-support@purple.ai

Please include your:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Date
  • A copy of the Wi-Fi receipt

You’ll receive an email confirming your refund, including the refund date and order reference.

What payment options are supported?

Options include Visa, Mastercard or American Express, Debit/Credit card, Paypal, or vouchers purchased from the hotel reception.
