Alcatel-Lucent Stellar (Enterprise/Cloud) AP

Logging in

Open a web browser and log in to your Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista Cirrus Cloud Dashboard.

RADIUS Profile

Click Security > RADIUS from the top menu then click the + icon to add a new server. Configure with:

Server Name guest_radius_server
Host Name/IP Address *insert radius_server here*
Backup Host Name/IP Address *insert radius_server2 here*
Shared Secret *insert radius_secret here*
Confirm Secret as above
Authentication Port 1812
Accounting Port 1813

Click Create to save.

AAA Server Profile

Click Unified Access > Template from the top menu then click AAA Server Profile on the left. Click the + icon and configure with:

Profile Name guest_radius_profile

Under Authentication Servers

Captive Portal Primary guest_radius_server
MAC Primary guest_radius_server

Under Accounting Servers

Captive Portal Primary guest_radius_server
MAC Primary guest_radius_server

Under Advanced Settings > MAC Auth

Session Timeout Trust RADIUS Status Enabled
Accounting Interim Trust RADIUS Status Enabled
Accounting Interim Interval 120 seconds

Under Advanced Settings > Captive Portal

Session Timeout Trust RADIUS Status Enabled
Accounting Interim Trust RADIUS Status Enabled
Accounting Interim Interval 120 seconds

Under Advanced Settings > RADIUS

Calling Station Delimiter -
Calling Station ID Case UPPERCASE
Called Station ID Case UPPERCASE

Click Create to save.

Access Role Profile

Click Unified Access > Template from the top menu then click Access Role Profile on the left. Click the + icon and configure with:

Profile Name guest_profile
Allowlist Domains Add the required domains one at a time. Please refer to this list.
Captive Portal Auth External
Portal Server *insert access_domain here*
Redirect-URL /access/
HTTPS Redirection Enabled
AAA Server Profile guest_radius_profile

Click Create to save.

WLAN SSID

Click WLAN > SSID Settings from the top menu then click the + icon. Configure with:

SSID Service Name Guest WiFi (or whatever you wish)
SSID Guest WiFi (or whatever you wish)
Usage Guest Network (Open or Captive Portal)
Do you want users to go through a Captive Portal? YES
Captive Portal Type External Captive Portal

Click Create and Customize to save. Click the Choose Existing Access Role Profile and configure with:

VLAN Select your VLAN or select Untagged VLAN
Default Access Role Profile guest_profile

Click Create to save.

Configuration Complete

The configuration is now complete.
