Configuration Instructions

Please connect an Ethernet cable from your existing modem/router/network into the port labeled "WAN" on the back of the GL.iNet.

Connect an Ethernet cable between the port labeled "LAN" on the back of the GL.iNet and your computer.

Turn on the router and wait for a few minutes.

Open a web browser and type http://192.168.8.1 into the address bar.
If you have not already set up the router, you will be prompted with the screens below. Select your desired options and then it will take you into the main web interface.

Setup Steps

Click on "Settings" at the top and then on "Firmware update" on the left.

Click on "Choose File" and select the firmware file that you have been provided. The screen below will be presented: IMPORTANT: Make sure you "deselect" the option for "Keep settings" else this will cause the device to not work correctly.
