| Important: Alta Labs APs do not support RADIUS authentication and accounting for a captive portal. Therefore, some reports in the portal like users online now and network reports will be unavailable. |
Logging in
Open a web browser and log in to your Alta Labs dashboard at https://manage.alta.inc.
WiFi Configuration
Click Settings at the top and under the WiFi tab click Add new (or edit an existing WiFi network). Configure as per below:

| WiFi Security: | Open |
| Sites: | Select your site(s) |
Under Advanced settings configure:
| Guest Portal: | Forward to an external portal |
| Default Network Type: | Guest |
| Hotspot: | Enabled |
| Hotspot: | External |
| Redirect URL: | *insert access_url here* |
| Authorization Secret: | *insert uam_secret here* |
| Additional Authorized hosts/IPs: | Please refer to this list. |
Click Save at the top right.
Next, go to Settings at the top and click the System tab. Scroll down to the Advanced section and copy the IAPP Key. This needs to be set in the Purple Portal under the Venue settings - "Alta Labs IAPP Key" box.
