Create With AI: Custom HTML Splash Page

Overview

The "Create with AI" feature lets you generate a fully-formed custom HTML splash page from a plain-text description. Instead of starting from a blank canvas, you describe what you want - your brand, layout preferences, colours, and any specific features - and the AI produces a complete, responsive splash page.

The generated page is a real custom HTML splash page: once you confirm the design you're taken straight into the HTML editor, so you retain full control to tweak or extend it as needed.

Where to Find It

  1. Navigate to Splash Pages in the portal.
  2. Click Create new splash page to open the new splash page dialog.
  3. Select Custom HTML from the Editor drop-down menu.
  4. Fill in the Name, Ownership scope, and Owned by fields.
  5. The Create with AI button (marked with a sparkle icon) will appear in the footer alongside the standard Create now button.

How to Use It

Step 1 - Set up the splash page details

In the "Create new splash page" dialog, enter:

  • Name - a name for the splash page
  • Ownership scope - the scope level (e.g. company, venue, group)
  • Owned by - the specific owner within that scope

Once these are filled in, click Create with AI.

Step 2 - Overview

A short descriptive overview of the feature is shown.

Click Begin to continue.

Step 3 - Describe your splash page

You'll see a two-panel screen:

Left panel - your inputs:

Logo upload (optional) - upload a JPG, PNG, or GIF image up to 2 MB. This will be embedded in the generated page. If no logo is uploaded, a placeholder will be inserted unless you specify otherwise.

Description (required) - write a plain-text description of the page you want. Be as specific or as broad as you like.

Right panel - available options:

An expandable reference panel lists the specific features you can mention in your description, including login methods, fonts, dynamic venue details, and more. These options are filtered to what is available for your account and the splash page type you selected.

Note: You don't need to be technical
- describe the page as you would to a designer.
A few tips:

  • Mention your branding - colours, style keywords (modern, minimal, bold, friendly), and any text content you want included.
  • Describe your layout, e.g. "centred card with a background image", "full-width header with a form below".
  • State the features you wish to include from the available options on the right, e.g. "include Facebook and Google login buttons" or "show the venue name as a subheading".

When you're happy with your description, click Generate. Generation typically takes 15-30 seconds.

Step 4 - Preview

A live preview of the generated page is shown in full.

From here you can:

  • Click Try Again to go back and adjust your description to generate a new splash page. Note that this will overwrite the previous attempt.
  • Click Confirm to accept the result and open it in the HTML editor for any further manual changes, giving you full control over the final look and feel.

Your Splash Page is saved as an
editable Custom HTML Template.
