  • Auth Rate Potential Issues: WiFi Authentication Health, This table compares three key metrics for each venue:
    • * 12-Month Auth Rate: The average authentication success rate over the previous 12 months.
    • * 30-Day Auth Rate: The average authentication success rate over the last 30 days.
    • * Auth Rate Change: The difference between the 30-day and 12-month authentication rates. Use this table to assess the current WiFi authentication health of each venue and identify any significant changes in login success rates.

For instance, if 20% of users reach the 'Offline Splash Page' stage, it indicates that they do not progress any further in the access journey. Conversely, if 30% of users reach the 'Successfully Online' stage, it reflects the authentication rate, indicating the proportion of users who successfully complete the access journey.

  • Visits by the Day of the Week and the Hour of the Day (01 Behaviour): A heatmap that displays the total number of visits broken down by each day of the week and hour of the day.
  • Most popular venues: Ranks your top 10 venues based on the total number of visitors each venue received during the selected time period.
  • Average dwell: The average time users spend connected to the WiFi network compared to the previous period
  • Average Dwell (HH:MM:SS): The average that authenticated visitors spent connected to the WiFi network per visit.
  • Authentication Rate: The percentage of WiFi authentication attempts that were successful, counting each user at most once in the morning and once in the afternoon per venue per day.
  • Repeat Customers: The number of visitors who had previously visited the venue.
  • Least popular venues: Ranks your 10 lowest-performing venues based on the total number of visits each venue received during the selected time period. Only venues with at least 1 visit during the selected time period are shown.

Summary

The Demographic dashboard provides a breakdown of authenticated WiFi users by their reported language, gender, and age group.

Visualisations

  • Top 10 Languages: A ranking of the top 10 most common primary languages among your venue's visitors, based on the total number of visitors reporting each language during the selected time period.
  • Unique Visitors: The total number of unique visitors who authenticated with the WiFi network.
  • Gender: Total visitors split by gender
  • Age Group (col): Displays the total number of visitors segmented into predefined age ranges (e.g., 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, etc.) based on the reported age of each visitor during the selected time period.
  • Gender (doughnut): A chart that breaks down the total number of visitors by reported gender (Female, Male, Non-binary, Undisclosed, or Unknown) during the selected time period.

  • Daily WiFi Logins And Active Venues: This chart displays two key metrics for each day within the selected time period:
    • 1. Total WiFi Logins (Column Chart, Left Axis): The aggregate number of authenticated WiFi logins across all venues.
    • 2. Number of Active Venues (Line Chart, Right Axis): The count of unique venues that had at least one authenticated WiFi login. By comparing these metrics, you can understand the relationship between overall WiFi usage and the number of venues contributing to that usage on a daily basis. The Paid WiFi dashboard tracks revenue, transactions, user uptake, and performance of paid wireless internet services across different venues and product types.

  • Total transactions: Total Paid WiFi processed transactions, including any refunds

The Presence dashboard analyzes overall foot traffic and visitor engagement patterns within venues by tracking both authenticated and unauthenticated WiFi device detections, including visit volumes, dwell times, and repeat visit trends.

Visualisations

  • Presence Visits By Hour-Of-Day: The number of presence (Authenticated and Unauthenticated) WiFi visits split by hour of the day
  • Presence New Visits: The number of presence visits, from both authenticated and unauthenticated devices, by devices that have not been seen before.
  • Least Popular Presence Venues: Ranks your 10 lowest-performing venues based on the total presence visits each venue received during the selected time period. Only venues with at least 1 visit during the selected time period are shown.
  • Presence visits by day: The number of Presence (Authenticated and Unauthenticated) WiFi visits split by day-of-the-week
  • Total Presence visits last month: This chart shows the total number of presence visits both authenticated and unauthenticated compared with the previous time period.
  • Presence Trends: The total Presence (Authenticated and Unauthenticated) WiFi visits and the total conversion rate, showing the % of devices that were detected within the venue, split by day
  • Presence dwell: This chart shows average Wi-Fi presence dwell trends by date normalised to the maximum for your filter selection.
  • Presence Dwell Distribution: The number of Presence visits, including both authenticated and unauthenticated devices, split by the duration that each device was detected by the WiFi network. The durations have been bucketed for ease of analysis.
  • Most Popular Presence Venues: Ranks your top 10 venues based on the total presence visits each venue received during the selected time period.
  • Presence Conversion Rate: The percentage of both authenticated and unauthenticated visits that have a sufficient signal strength to be considered inside of the venue compared to the total presence visits.
  • Presence Repeat Visits: The number of presence visits, from both authenticated and unauthenticated devices, by devices that have been seen previously at your locations.
  • Average Presence Dwell: This chart shows average dwell for both authenticated and unauthenticated visits compared with the previous time period.

Summary

The Technology dashboard details the various devices and software visitors use to connect to the WiFi, including connection methods, device types, manufacturers, operating systems, and browser versions.

 

 

Visualisations

  • Connection Method: Breaks down the total number of visits based on the authentication method used by visitors to log into the WiFi network, such as registration form, Facebook login, or OneClick.
  • Browsers: Shows the total number of visits segmented by the web browser used on the device when connecting to the WiFi network, such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
  • Connection method: A chart showing the connection methods used by WiFi visitors
  • Device Manufacturer: Ranks the top 25 device manufacturers based on the total number of visits originating from devices made by each manufacturer during the selected time period.
  • Operating System: Displays the total number of visits broken down by the operating system of the devices used to connect to the WiFi network, such as iOS, Android, Windows, or Mac OS.
  • iOS Versions Used: The number of visits from devices using iOS, split by the version of iOS used. Use this to identify whether old and unsupported browser versions are being used.
  • Device Type: Segments the total number of visits by the type of device used to connect to the WiFi network, categorized as Mobile, Desktop, or Tablet.
  • Edge Versions Used: The number of visits from devices using Edge, split by the version of Edge used. Use this to identify whether old and unsupported browser versions are being used.

Verify (TBC)

Summary

The Verify dashboard provides a breakdown of email verification rates. Visualisations will show no data if the customer does not have a Verify license. We only capture data for those WiFi users that make it online, we do not capture verification information about users that are blocked from connecting due to using an invalid email address.

  • The valid email address rate - The percentage of email addresses checked using Verify that are Valid
  • Valid Email Addresses - The total number of valid email addresses that have been checked using Verify
  • Underliverable Email Address Rate - The percentage of email addresses checked using Verify that are Invalid/Disposable
  • Undeliverable Email Addresses - The total number of invalid/disposable email addresses that have been checked using Verify
  • Verify Email Status - The number of email addresses checked using Verify, split by the Verification Status
  • Verification Rates By Date - The email verification rates by date
  • Verification Rate By Gender - The email verification rate by gender
  • Verification Rate By Age - The email verification rate by age range


     

  • The verification status value are:
  • Valid: A real email address that's actively accepting mail.
  • Invalid: A non-existent or inactive address that will cause a bounce.
  • Disposable: A temporary, throwaway email account.
  • Catch-All: The server accepts all email addresses for this domain, so the individual address can't be confirmed as valid or invalid. Commonly used by small businesses or large educational institutions.
  • Unknown: The email status couldn't be determined because the domain's server isn't responding.
