Log in to the Netgear router web interface at http://192.168.1.1 (default user/pass is admin)
At the top, click Advanced and then on the left, click Administration > Firmware Update
Click Browse and select the firmware file you downloaded from the portal.Next, click the Upload button.
NOTE: If you receive an error message, please rename the file extension from .bin to .img and try again.
You will be asked to confirm the upgrade. Choose Continue or Yes
The firmware will now be updated and the router will reboot. This may take 2-3 minutes to complete.
