To add the additional IP address please follow the details below.
IMPORTANT: If you have configured URL filters on your Cisco controller ACL instead of IP's, you shouldn't need to make this change.
To check if you are using URL filters, go to Security > Access Control Lists > Access Control List, and to the right of the ACL you are using, hover the blue arrow and click Add-Remove URL . If you have any domains listed here then you shouldn't need to make the below change. Please click the Confirm Changes button in the email you received to let us know.
- Login to your Cisco WLC web interface.
- Click Security at the top and then Access Control Lists on the left. Choose either Access Control List for local APs or FlexConnect ACLs for Flex APs.
- Click on the ACL you are using for the Guest WiFi.
- Click on Add New Rule and enter the following:
- Sequence: 10
- Source: Any
- Destination: IP Address
- IP Address: <refer to email>
- Netmask: 255.255.255.255
- Action: Permit
Press Apply to Save.
- Click Add New Rule again and enter the following:
- Sequence: 11
- Source: IP Address
- IP Address: <refer to email>
- Netmask: 255.255.255.255
- Destination: Any
- Action: Permit
Press Apply to Save.
- Click Save Configuration at the top to persist the changes.
The update is now complete!
